Pipe Bending Machines
“Centurion” Benders offered by CRC-Evans is the next generation of the state-of-the-art bending Machines.  Re-engineered stronger frame and hydraulic system offers faster bending with increased capacity.

Pneumatic Wedge type Pipe Bending MandrelThe Pneumatic Wedge Type Pipe Bending Mandrel was developed specifically to meet the bending requirements of heavy wall and high yield grade pipe.   It applies powerful radial support to the inner walls, yet remains flexible lengthwise to bend with the pipe.   It is positioned and controlled manually within the pipe by a reach rod.   It is particularly successful in providing a smooth bend with no “out-of-round”.

Pipe Facing Machine
The CRC-Evans Pipe Facing machine was developed to machine the complex bevel required by the CRC-Evans Automated Pipeline Welding System.   The Pipe Facing Machine uses a combination of mechanical and hydraulic components to product bevels with a tolerance of +/-0.005” (0.13mm), a hydraulic power source is required.

Bending Sets and Dies
A Bending Set and a Bending Die are required for each diameter of pipe and produce maximum accuracy, and are available bare or with linings to accommodate all current commercial coatings that will withstand bending.

Roli™ Cradle
The CRC-Evans Roli™ Cradle is the ideal cradle for all line travel operations, eliminating damage caused by steel wheel cradles, and distributing pressure evenly eliminating “egging” of the pipe.   The wrap around design ensures that the pipe “centers” in the cradle.

Internal Pneumatic Line-up Clamp
The CRC-Evans IPLC provides optimum internal line-up of two pipes prior to welding.   It is extremely robust and built to special high standards to withstand pipeline spread operations.   A “Self-propelled” IPLC travels through the pipe to the next joint under its own power, a “Non Self-propelled” IPLC is pulled to the next joint manually.

Manual Internal Line-up Clamp
The Manual Internal Line-up Clamp offers quick line-up for continuous welding of pipe.  Full-round stringer beads eliminate costly ‘tacking’ and weld defects, rings expand with sufficient power from jack-type mechanism to give adequate pipe alignment.
 
 

TruBend
TruBend™ is a wireless digital angle measurement device for attachment to any CRC-Evans Bending Machine.   It provides a continuous readout of the achieved bend angle during bending operations.   The magnetic mounts used in the measurement units allow very fast setup on all pipe sizes.   The display shows angles of both ends and the net bend in the pipe.
